This was really good! I loved every bit, especially the end. And the relatability was just *Chef's Kiss*!

I will forever read everything this author comes out with! Her story is about younger people but they hit so hard with topics, and the art style is to die for!!! If your looking for a heart felt graphic novel with beautiful art style this is the book for you!

Happily ever after isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. This was a great sequel because after Marjorie got what she wanted and needed, she found herself assimilating to fit in with people she thought she should be with at the expense of her real friends and people who shared her values and interests. Even though she was forced to grow up early, she’s still a kid with so much more growing to do.
I love that this book addresses that there is a line between acceptable and unacceptable weird and how it’s very different for black kids than it is for white kids. It also addresses how much harm can be done in silence and how often people are hurting more than we know. Well done.

Marjorie has been accepted into the popular group at school; but it still feels wrong...especially when fitting in means cancelling plans with Wendell and making fun of a fellow classmate, Eliza. Marjorie must learn to do the right thing and stand up for her true friends.
