Fun and quirky coffee table book that is a reminder of home and some of the tall tales shared at family gatherings.

Hopefully this is only the first in a series of books, as I'd gladly read the rest in a heartbeat. A great field guide into the half-hidden world of giant monsters that roam the hills and glades of Kentucky that shouldn't be missed. The artwork is fitting for the subject matter and adds a bit of flavor to the down home feel of the book. My only real issue is that it could be longer, but I'm hoping that the author continues on and I can consume all of his works in one large omnibus.

This little book is everything I love. It's super local, it's giant monsters, it's good art, and it's fun. I couldn't ask for anything more.

The reviewer of this book is the resident 12 year old, who is the household's biggest kaiju expert and fan:

A good book with some nice art, there was no story but it did not need one. I can recommend this book to anyone who likes a cool monster or two and there seems to be a lot of effort put into it. For humour the creatures like GALLUSBOMB and GRANICULOUS SMITHACRUX are both pretty funny although every one of them is funny really. My overall favorite would have to be CERVIDEATH by sheer looks alone. Again a good book, the art is great, the thought behind it is cool and there is some good comedy thrown in and I can definitely recommend it.
