hit home for me atm. like maria, i, too, have a bittersweet (exceptionally bitter, for the time being) relationship with my younger female cousin who's like a sister to me. the dynamic between maria and tsugumi resonated so deeply with me that it was like looking into a mirror :(

Comforting.

Enjoyable read. Feels very nostalgic throughout the whole book. The ending broke my heart though. My second book of hers. Will continue to read more.
