This book is absolutely amazing. I loved the story and all of the characters. The way it's written keeps you wanting for more and before you know it, you're done the book. There's twists every few chapters and you never get bored. I originally only picked up this book, without knowing what it was about, because I thought it would be a lighthearted read that would resemble the time I spent growing up in Hawaii. It gave me so much more than that. Perfect read for a hot summer day.

I see that Taylor Jenkins Reid loves to connect all her books. And I'm not mad about it because I'm kind of obsessed with the world she's created.

Really enjoyed this one even if the mention of a bunch of new names every chapter threw me off - I'm a simple gal, it takes me so long to get into a new book with loads of characters lol

Still, this one had me hooked and I couldn't put it down

A quick, easy, engaging read, though not a masterpiece by any stretch. The siblings were likeable enough, and I enjoyed both their individual and collective growth. My main issue was that most of the themes and topics already were present in Jenkins Reid's other novels, and were executed a lot better. The corrupting nature of fame, the cheating, toxic relationships, family drama; nothing new was really being brought to the table. That being said, I didn't really hate anything about it, so it's a solid 3.25 for me.

I just love Taylor Jenkins Reid! A few trashy, sex parts but overall very heart warming and sweet story. Fast read. I really enjoyed it!

Set in a single day, the Riva family is instantly likeable, their trials relatable and the sibling bond at the centre of the book a really beautiful set of relationships to behold. A fun crossover I didn’t expect with Carrie Soto as wel!
