This is a collection of graphic essays about film, but only in the same way that Mulholland Drive is a film noir. Very troubling and emotionally affecting. A big secondary theme is how men and women relate to each other.

2,5/5. Kind of an homage to the movie universe. A very classical illustrations style, not black and white but very fews colors, often mix one or two colors with black. Colors switch along the story, because this book is a sort of anthology of short story about movie, actor, etc. Hard to describe, certainly unique in it's own way, but unfortunately not that good.

I was really excited waiting for this to be released and have to admit I was kind of disappointed. Some of the stories are fun; most of them are just kind of there. The artwork is fun but it doesn't make up for the lack of anything really going on in the stories.
