Not half bad, but never really lifted me off the page. THEN, come to find dude wrote the screenplay for Toy Soldiers (which I love to hate), Stir of Echoes (which I hate to love) and goddamn it DEATH BECOMES HER?!?!? I am so confused...

My favorite thing about apocalyptic fiction is the early days and the fall of society. Sadly most novels show a bit of the fall but then jump straight to "repopulate the world'.

This books was the best. It was The Event and the Immediate After the Event. I think the book takes place in a 5 month window.

Fantastically written and very enjoyable. How is this not in bookstgrams TBR piles? They need to put away the Throne of Glass and pick up Aurora.
