Although the science was interesting, it was all too dry for me. Graphic and not very fun to read true crime hidden behind an academic veil in my opinion, but I never did enjoy biology...

This is a fascinating book about the job of a forensic anthropologist. I learned a lot of interesting facts about the human skeleton, and how much knowledge can be gleaned from them. Our life is written in our bones! Knowing how easily our bones and bodies can go wrong leaves me in total awe of how our bodies (and being alive) are so miraculous and a feat of nature. Sue Black writes with a conversational, educational and humorous tone with a lot of really interesting stories from her career. I wish there were infographics that I could use to follow along because the technical explanations of the bones totally lost me sometimes. A fascinating read.

Found it very intriguing how much our body and the bones of it can show our life story
