« i’ve never really not written, never not had another world of my own making to escape to, never known how to be in this world without most of my soul dreaming up and living in another. »

i need an a24 movie adaptation of this book.

my book club heard enough of my laundry list of gripes with this book. all i will say is that it was an affront to the very art of writing. no ma’am.

i liked the plot super weird and creepy but also very confusing and trippy. writing was good but kind of dragged on very much dark academia vibes tho

I will never look at bunnies the same way.

I don’t know what I just read but I need this to become a movie pls and thank you

this book is full of shit and i hate it. first 100 pages were so good a promise of something that could’ve been great. Samantha was the most annoying insufferable mc i’ve encountered i think. never taking responsibility for anything just letting it all pass by her and i know mc’s are where we’re supposed to be perceiving the story from but man she felt too much like a lens than an actual character. she never did anything she just described stuff. her friendship with ava she was just there…all of this she was just there. and oh idk what ‘horror’ is everyone talking about this wasn’t scary. like at all.

INSANE

Was reading this between customers at work and sat in my car after my shift to finish it. You truly go down the rabbit hole with Bunny. Samantha is both a charming and maddening narrator, and you never quite know where you stand until the very end; on edge, ready to run if you have to, just like a bunny
