dont mind me just need to add a 2nd edition of one of my fav dean koontz bookz

Bad book to start the year with! Kinda annoying characters and a 100 pages too long.

It's been quite some time since I've read a Dean Koontz book. I had forgotten how enjoyable they could be. I enjoyed the pace of the book and the characters. I raced through this one in less than three days, thoroughly enjoying the ride.

In a fit of whimsy, I hereby announce I will give everyone five stars, but the reviews may not reflect it.

Two cops take down a professor who shoots up a cafe and after are attacked by a golem who gives them 16 hours before he klls. Cue attempts to figure out how to save their own lives. Certainly not Koontz' best work, but fun and at times if a bit silly.

This book reminded me too much of Darkfall and Bad Place. I recently read Darkfall and felt the two main characters were the same in these books. That just didn't make it very enjoyable, because it was like reading the same book over.
