3.75. I find reading about underwater searches to be fascinating, and it makes me want to become a diver, lol. This was a pretty good book, although there are other detective type stories I like better. I do think the series will get better, assuming there is deeper character development over time.

Sloan makes really poor choices. Why doesn’t she have a partner? Ugh. I think male writers struggle with understanding a female point of view and should refrain from having a female lead. I really wanted to like this novel but just no.
