This was a fun book to read. I really enjoyed the illustrations, and the stories were all unique to me, but with similar themes to other folktales/fairytales. Such as, owls are considered wise, foolishness leads to trouble, listening to the wise leads to victory, courage and bravery are good things. Siberia has a lot of rich stories! I’m very glad I found this book.
