This is cuter--and more emotional--than I expected.

Cute! I liked the art style for the most part, though at times the lack of highlights and shadows made the art look too flat, diminishing the impact of "big" scenes. The story was predictable, but sweet :) My favorite part was Sebastian and Frances'
fun little date
. Sebastian's gender identity was never given a strict label. That was cool. Would recommend for younger audiences.

Oh my God! This book was amazing!
My only complaint is that I'm tired of queer stories always having a grafic public outing scene were everyone acts disgusted by the queer character.
But that aside, everything else was perfection. I loved the art style, the dresses were beautiful and so was the background and character design. Frances and Sebastian/Lady Cristallya own my heart now, they were so cute. This world really needs more genderqueer representation and I'm glad that this one exists. Really left a warm and fluffy feeling inside of me.

By day Sebastian is a prince, performing his princely duties and being the gentleman his parents have raised him to be. By night Sebastian is becomes himself, Lady Crystallia. He loves to wear dresses and make up, but no one but his loyal servant Emile know about this. One day Sebastian hires a dressmaker, Frances, after seeing her work at one of the princes balls.

Together Lady Crystallia and Frances work together to become fashion icons, taking Paris by storm. Sebastian has never felt more himself then when he is wearing dresses, and when he is with Frances. But he must marry a princess and continue the royal line. This is a beautiful graphic novel of young love, figuring out who you are and the relationships that bind us together

I cannot recommend this enough to young readers and parents. I happy cried my way all the way to the end. It was phenomenal.

Just a genuinely cute book. A light read that I’d recommend to everyone. :)
