This was a fun, unique read about a pizza owner, Kevin, and a demon, Percy. It's a bit steamy with a twist to one of the MC's.

DNF at 49%. I really wanted to know what Kevin’s deal was. But, Cheesus Crust, if I read “sug” or “peaches” one more time, and the search feature assures me that combined they are in the book over 200 times, I will certainly lose my mind.

DNF at 29%. No meaningful conversations, just cringy quips bank and forth. I felt no tension or chemistry between the two main characters. WHERE ARE ALL THE GOOD MM PARANORMAL ROMANCES?!?! SEND HELP!

This was a really fun and interesting story. I really enjoyed the mystery around Kevin's past and fall, and the road trip was funny. I found some of the lore for this story fascinating, and I enjoyed reading about Las Vegas and how demons live and run things there. I liked that Kevin finally found someone who could match him sexually, and this book was definitely full of smutty goodness. I think I would have given it a higher smut rating if there was more kinky or varied sex, but while it didn't seem to be the same thing repeated over and over again, it was rather tame for a story with primal play. Percy was a really fun character, and I enjoyed his humour and crazy antics, both in general and sexually. There isn't a huge amount of plot, but it was a good introduction to this Possessive Love series, and I am curious to keep seeing how different authors will interpret the lore around demons.
