I really enjoyed the art, it definitely helped sell the mood of the whole story. But the plot felt too short for me, I would've liked a little more time with the antagonist. The synopsis didn't help either, I thought we were going to see Bruce hiding from the police more, trying desperately to clear his name, but he had one conversation with Gordon and everything was fine.

I understand how Gordon's relationship with his kid and him breaking the cycle of abuse contributes to the story of abused children, but I personally could've gone without it.

Unique watercolours combined with an interesting take on one of my favourite Batman characters, Commissioner Gordon.

The dark and atmospheric art coupled with an unsettling premise had me momentarily hopeful. But I felt that this volume devolved into an after-school-special towards the end. Let's just say...Batman dramatically shouts statistics from a rooftop.

The art on this book is fantastic and the opening does a third person POV on Batman/Bruce which is awesome. I had some flaws with the story but overall, Archie did a great job on this book.

Really good comic about Batman and his war on crime and abuse. Leans into the trauma of his youth s little. Good mystery (although a little unfair).

Would recommend.

I enjoyed the story even though it was a bit thin and the dialog was sometimes clunky. Good water color art, even though the physiology was sometimes a bit off.

This was one of those comics concerned with everyday crimes that shake a person to their core. Batman's involvement was great but I really enjoyed the Dexter of abused children and wished he could'vr stuck around longer.
