DNF. 10% in and they're still standing at the curb of an airport, waiting for an Uber. The MC is annoying me too, so nah.

I liked that it was an interesting take on And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. This was a pretty good murder mystery. I was surprised by who the killer was. I just wish there was more suspense and build within the novel, but I really enjoyed the characters and how their relationships evolved over the course of the book.,

An interesting premise, although I don't think it quite hit the mark. The characters are a bit flat and don't seem to develop very much. Also the reveal felt kind of anticlimactic to me. And some of the romantic elements felt shoehorned in without much context- don't get me wrong I love a good f/f friends-to-lovers, but it felt like it came out of left field.

Overall not a terrible book to read, the audiobook was pretty quick, but also not my favorite.

This book definitely had me stumped, I thought I knew who the killer was and how it was going to end, but I was completely wrong

I’m admittedly not this book’s target demographic. I don’t read a ton of YA, maybe 5-10 books in a given year, but I’m a sucker for a murder mystery.

There’s definitely a lot of good pieces here. I like the idea of a modernized Agatha Christie-style story, and while the ending twist didn’t work for me, it’s cleverly constructed.

I’d chalk this one up to me just not connecting with the characters, but I’m sure others, particularly those who read more YA than me, will feel differently.
