Roberts shares with us a fantastic storyline. Her voice in "Year One," is a practical one with strong superficial physical imagery focused on the mundane. However, currently, I am looking for things that are deeper below the surface or grander. Returned unread after 50 pages.

Such an amazing book! The author is quite the story teller. This is my first book by Nora and I loved it! This story took my heart and crushed it but slowly healed it in the end! I hope this becomes a movie, I’d love to see this beautiful story come to life! So excited to start the next book!

Not typically my kind of book but it was a fun read. The story moves at a good pace, so there didn't feel like any long or drawn out portions of the book. The ending was satisfying and left me wondering what happens next!

I honestly really liked this! I wasn't sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this. It is apocalyptic with some magic dashed in. Beyond that I think you should go in blind and enjoy the ride.

Why did I leave this languishing on my Kindle? A killer virus, the rise of magick, horror, chaos and humanity at its worse, hope, love, loyalty, friendship, family both born and found….this story has it all!

I’ve never read any books by Nora Roberts before but that’s going to change pretty quick because her writing style is just so easy to read. For a start I NEED to get the next two books in this trilogy!
