I liked this second volume even more than the first. That had to do a lot with Oliver, and the mystery surrounding his existence. What it means to only have a flavor every now and again, or the darkness that fills him most of the time. It seemed to have a depth to the graphic novel, including his character, and those surrounding his life, that was lacking in the first one.
The first was cute, with all of the technological goodness, and the new way of life for Amy, but it needed just a little more. Thankfully, it delivered. Not only did it have Oliver, but it continued with Amy's quest in finding a balance with her new way of life, plus keeping Oliver in the light, rather than the sad bleakness of his state of mind.
I do wish though, that the pace of the story would pick up, since it seems to go on for pages without much happening. I think it would add so much to each volume. I do get that it's made that way, to continue with other volumes and extend it, but sometimes it just took way too long. I wanted more of all of it, but I'll just have to get a hold of volume three for that.
***I was provided use of this copy through my library Portage County. All opinions are my own.***

All the stars!
LOVED this installment in the Space Boy series and I’m dying to know what Oliver’s flavour is. Actually, I’m dying to know more about Oliver - he is quite the mystery!
