A Kind of Madness was a great read. Each short story focused on a different form of madness—they come from different places and take different forms but by the end, each narrative shows ‘madness’ in very unique ways. I enjoyed reading the stories and the setting of contemporary Nigeria allowed me to learn just a bit more about another culture! Overall great reads, my favorites were Nwunye Belgium, Shadow, Milk and Oil, Eden, and Burning.

I really like how some of the stories, despite their length, are rich enough to not only stand alone but to allow a sequel.
My favourites are Nwunye Belgium, Eden and a Girl Who Lies (I might have gotten it wrong)
I really like how the author relates the story of Eden to the title by
1) Making the first adult film the two watch "A Taste in Paradise" (I giggled a bit)
2) Making you ask the question: Why would the father not only buy those films, but leave them out to be eventually be discovered by the kids? Which reminded me of the question I hear sometimes,
Why would God leave a tree like the fruit of Good and Evil around to be eventually discovered by Adam and Eve?
