I love the first book and loved the second. Something I find most thrilling about this thriller is the writing style. It’s not the same as the classic thrillers. The tongue in cheek to how thrillers are written is brilliant and fun to read. The only reason it took me 8 days to read it is because of life. I read this in two sittings. 50% of the book on the 19th and 50% on the 27th. I couldn’t put it down. Really fun read and I just ordered the third book. See you all in a couple days!

Same smashing voice for the main character Ernst from the first book. I loved the concept of being trapped on a train with a bunch of mystery writers and readers. A few new twists and turns. Can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.
I loved the setting on the train. Not quite a grabby as the first one, but still a joy.

It was okay. The first book was better. This one had an intriguing ending, but the first 75% of the book didn't capture me the way the first book did.

I find it tacky to reference a first novel and call out that it was mentioned to get people to buy the first even thought it was the humor of the novel I found it so annoying how often it was brought up.
Another moment I found tacky was the assumption of when or if the movie would be made into a motion picture lol like if that never happens that’s really awk.
Overall, I really didn’t enjoy anything about this book and was so close to not finishing bc I did not care who the killer was at all and I felt the book was pointless.
