I had fun with this one! A good mystery with a fun, light voice. There were clever hints throughout, some of which I caught and some I missed.
My only gripe was that

the spelling of 'Whiskey' in the manuscript title wasn't addressed - I felt really clever knowing that a Scot wouldn't spell it that way and it was never mentioned. Oh well!

Ernest and his witty humour are back but I felt this one fell a little flat! I really enjoyed the first in the series but found this one difficult to get into. It was all there but the little interruptions and reminding that we are learning about a murder mystery took my attention away.
I did think about the clues he gave but then the interruptions left me just listening to the story. I thought the chase scenes were a little unbelievable but then I also get that the author was aiming for that so it fit the overall story.
