All aboard the murder express! 🩸🚂 I just finished Everyone on This Train Is a Suspect and had an absolute blast with it. Benjamin Stevenson brings back the quirky, self-aware humor and twisty plotting I loved in Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone, but this time it’s even more delightfully chaotic.
Set on a train full of crime writers (yes, seriously), it’s a meta-mystery where the narrator is also the main character and the author of the book you’re reading—and somehow, it totally works. The whodunnit vibes were strong, the clues were layered, and the satirical tone had me grinning through the gore.
I docked one star because the middle dragged just a touch for me, but overall, this was clever, punchy, and full of personality. If you like your mysteries twisty and your narrators cheeky, hop on board. 😉💀🧩
