Not as good as the first one, yet this is a good installment in the life of Earnest Cunningham. We got to know him a bit better in this one (his sometimes cluelessness and all). I guessed the killer, though it was a bit hard for me to explain my conclusions with the somewhat convoluted plot. Still, a fun read, and the narrator is top notch. He really brings Ernie to life.

I enjoyed the Stevenson's first Ernest Cunningham book, Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone, but this second one didn't live up to it. It was a lot of set up and a lot of characters, so much so that by the time the first murder happened, I was bored and uninvested. Which is why it took me 2 months to finish it.
