I have to say that this has been one of my favourite plays I’ve read in my life. I laughed out loud multiple times and the story reeled me in from the very beginning. The demons, the doctor, amazing and funny characters. I even kept hoping for a happy ending! Would definitely recommend.

One day, I'll follow Dr. Faustus in his footsteps.

Really enjoyed this. The writing flowed well and it was surprisingly really funny.

I know there's a deeper meaning with a religious commentary, but my brain has not made the conclusions just yet.

Would love to see this performed live.

Much more succinct than Goethe’s rendition, Marlowe’s play is accessible and entertaining.
