i truly don’t know how to review this book, and this series as a whole. it means so so much to me, these characters mean so much to me. they feel so deeply real, it almost hurts to be done with their story.
Maggie Stiefvater’s writing is gorgeous, her descriptions are so sensual and in depth and interesting. she writes characters so unbelievably well. i honestly strive to write something that will impact even just one person the way that the Raven Cycle has for me. so, thank you to Maggie Stiefvater for dreaming up (pun intended) these characters <3

The ending was a bit underwhelming

It felt like a stunted ending to the series. Stiefvater creates such suspense to what would happen in this book, and I felt like some of it was a cop out. Something I struggled with throughout the four books is that the plot doesn’t really seem apparent? There’s not much structure and the climax kinda seems thrown in in the last 30 pages. With that said, I’d die for Richard Campbell Gansey III.

I don’t usually like conclusions after reading s story and a series full of really amazing characters and plot but this one I really loved. There was just enough wrap up that I felt like I could walk away without questions and lingering wants but also enough open ended story lines just for me to imagine. Absolutely brilliant series I’m so glad I finally read it. No regrets.
