I read this to fulfill a “positive polyamory” reading challenge prompt, but the high amount of graphic smut versus the low amount of plot content was just not what I was hoping for.

Also, it had so many typos, and I was confused about the author bio which uses they/them pronouns for the author, goes on to say that the author’s pronouns are he/him, and then returns to using they/them. Hoping the author was okay with this…? 😵‍💫

Still, I think this novella is sweet and provides some much-needed representation!

I did really enjoy this, especially seeing such healthy conversation (even if our MC had to give them a few reminders). I do think I would’ve enjoyed it more if I was in the mood for spicy scenes - but alas, I was not.

This was a lovely, cozy read. To be honest, not much happened beyond soft moments, sex, and a bit of self discovery, so the plot was a bit lacking. Given the length of the novel/novella, everything happened so quickly. I would've enjoyed a little slower development of their relationships, but it wasn't too poorly paced. Honestly, it made for a sweet, enjoyable read

This book has zero plot and lots of spice. It's very cozy and was a nice escape.
I understand we're supposed to read it as his anxiety but I did not like how controlling Victor was about people going to town towards the end of the book

I know it’s primarily smut but it could do me the solid of being interesting in between the sex scenes. Lukewarm all around.

This should definitely be labelled as erotica versus a romance, given the focus on sex and lack of focus on the relationship developing between characters. With that said, it was a nice story about a trans polyamorous triad set in a historical setting.

Healing, cozy, steamy. Set post-WWII in America.

It was healing to read this, which is odd to say as the characters’ circumstances in no way mirror my own. But the adaptation of a slower-paced life filled intentionally with people who make one feel safe and allow one to express oneself as they wish? Universally appealing.

Sweet, fast, easy, a little bit mindless. But it fills a niche that deserved it
