I liked connor and harlow but I have a lot of mixed opinions, at times conner just felt less interested in harlow and at the end harlow should have made connor grovel much harder.. Like girl he was basically blaming you was for his game loss.
Now onto garrisons- One thing I really liked that neither connor or harlow imposed their thoughts about them on each other and they both understood each other's perspective about garrisons.
I have loved everything I have read of Farnsworth but this one just felt bit weak as compared to them.

Harlow is a marine biology student that is in love with water, swimming is her form of exercise, water in form of ice has never interest her.
Conor Hart is a hot hockey player his only focus is to go pro. Ice is his safe space, his favorite form of water.
Ignoring each other is an unspoken agreement until it isn’t anymore. The attraction and love is impossible to stop and to be together they only have to get over their past.
**review:**
> “ Mess up all my plans, Harlow. Because I don’t want to be part of any plans unless they include you. I need you in my life, for anything to mean something. When I play in my first pro game, I want you to be behind the bench wearing my jersey. If you’re not, it’ll just be another hockey game.”

There’s a secret these two characters have and everyone can tell, what is it? no one knows. The only thing we know is they purposely ignore each other, the reason is not clear and that makes you wonder.. do they know each other when they were kids? are they ex’s ?
The real reason? Harlow is best friends with Conor’s brother. Have you ever seen the series one tree hill? Exactly that! Conor = Lucas / Lenon ( harlow’s best friend) = Nate, like i said family drama.
Through the story you can tell both Connor has issues, a past that he is holding on and not letting it go, the only thing that keeps him going is hockey. It keeps him alive and his only focus is to go pro. Until Harlow came along. The thing is their relationship was not supposed to happen. She is a constant reminder of the family he is not part of like a family he hates, and like he says “she is guilty by association.”
To be completely honest Connor surprised me, the way his character is written is very thoughtful, he has his flaws like everything and everyone but the way he started to open up to Harlow is beautiful, he was on a full relationship and didn’t even know it. Cute!!
Harlow's character development is equally impressive. Her passion for marine biology and her love for water are beautifully woven into the story, creating a unique contrast with Conor's ice-centric world. The way their seemingly opposite interests in water states - liquid and solid - come together is a clever metaphor for their relationship. As they navigate their feelings and overcome obstacles, the reader can't help but root for them.
This is my third book from this author it was definitely a nice surprise, the way she writes and creates this story it makes you want to read more and more, i finished this book in one day. I could not put it down.
If you enjoy a sports romance story with interest characters easy read perfect to get you out of a read slump this is the book for you.
Looking forward to reading more books from this author and to keep reading the rest of this series.
“ And I suddenly know with absolute certainty that wasn’t the last conversation I’ll have with Harlow Hayes. Just the first.”
