This was such a cute and fun read!!! I feel like it’s probably not really 5 stars but I feel like 4 stars is doing it dirty when I can’t think of any complaints! The plot was good and realistic and I really enjoyed all the characters! It didn’t fall back on cliches I expected it to also which I really appreciated! Overall a very solid hockey romance and I wish the author had more!!

I was disappointed

I devoured this book in one day! In the beginning I was a little confused about all the characters/events being introduced, but as I read more it started to all make sense. I loved Harlow and Conor's relationship together and how they were both there for each other. I wish there was more back story though on both characters.

About: Everyone knows Conor Hart. He's the all-star hockey player that was given the nickname "Heartbreaker". Harlow is also known by the hockey team since she's dated one of the other players, Jack Williams. The whole team knows that Conor and Harlow avoid each other, but don't know why. What most people don't know is that Harlow's best friend Landon is Conor's half brother and that's mostly why they avoided each other. After Harlow starts training for running a marathon in honor of her dead parents, one of the hockey players suggested that she ask Conor for help since he's always training. Initially, he said no due to their relationship, but in the end he goes back to help her and it turns into more.

The book wasn’t my favorite but I absolutely loved Connor and Harlow from the start. It started off great with their chemistry but I felt like it dragged more towards the end.

I finished this book in 6 hours. I legit set down the book I am currently reading to start this one and I ended up finishing it. Whoops:) There’s nothing I can do now but look back at this one and think damn that was a good book. Harlow and Conor might be my new favorite book couple. I’m definitely a mood reader but I am also an author reader. If I like a book by the author there’s a chance that I like other books by that author. I can’t tell you the number of times that I have started one of C.W. Farnsworth’s books and proceeded to finish it a couple of hours later. I absolutely love her writing and can’t wait for the second book!
