I’m not sure how to start this review…..I will first say I love the happy endings. And anytime Danika is “seen,” I melt into slobbery tears (and Lehabah too). I felt the book was a bit too long, but I’m not sure what I would cut out. I wasn't a big fan of the "translator pill" when Velaris isn't even equipped to perform safe c-sections, so it wasn't super believable. I think a tea would have been more appropriate.

I love the overlap of Nesta and Cassian and hope there’s more of a blend of Midgard and Velaris in future books! All in all, this book was wonderful and I love the relationships I have created with all the characters.
