This book is going in my special cabinet with all my Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. It is one of the best middle grade fantasies I've ever read: A magical world, loveable characters, and an intense and emotional conflict. I had high expectations of this book and it still blew me away.

I first read this book in sixth grade, so it filled me with so much nostalgia to read this book again. I just loved this book so so much. This was my Harry Potter for so long. This was my absolute favourite book for a couple of years, so it's just nice to read it again.
