4.5 stars- the first 50-ish pages were a bit slow but the I fell in complete love with the story and the characters!!!

This is a fast-paced teen/YA sci-fi romance. The story is a bit sloppy at times, but still so compelling that you won't want to put it down.

Confuso y complejo pero esta copado

Oh boy, I did not enjoy this. I liked Nemesis for the most part, but this book lacked worldbuilding, focused far too much on a completely forced romance, and I hated the second half of the book.

I will not be continuing.

Kinda became boring

4.5 Stars. This was a sort of confusing genre for me. It was sort of sci-fi, sort of fantasy, and sort of historical fiction. It was like Ancient Rome moved into space. It actually kept me pretty interested. It read really quickly once I was able to make time to sit down with it, but I'm not sure if I'll continue on with the series.

This book was not for me. I never really got attached to any of the characters. I found most of them annoying for most of the book. I just didn't care. The pacing was off for me too. It would flip flop between being boring and everything happening all at once. It was an interesting concept, but ultimately I don't think the follow through was good. I pushed through and finished it even though I was ready to be done halfway through. I won't be continuing on with this series.

Great book, easy to get into. Big plot twists.
Would love to see a movie made of this.

This book had been on my list for quite some time, glad I finally got around to reading it.
