Although the plot was a little slow, I was breezing through the pages, waiting for things to happen. I usually keep an open mind about letting the plot fall in place and I would be surprised at the turn of events, but this book was a disappointment till the end. There were things I suspected would happen, to make this summer book about the summer for the main character but it fell flat. There were things I wished happened, to make the story better but it was like a monotonous, non likable story with less than impressive characters.

This is my least favorite Sarah Dessen book. That being said I still enjoyed it. I liked the sister relationship. I do wish that some other relationships and problems were talked about at the end because I felt like it was just brushed over. I also really do not understand the main characters like obsession with this boy. Like I understand like that was the last summer she thought everyone was happy but it honestly didn’t make sense because she was like 15 years old at this time looking back on it so it’s weird I don’t know it was odd to me.
