I am really not a huge fan of short stories, but I enjoyed these. Not all stories were 4 stars, but I enjoyed most of them.
Not bad. Quick read. Most stories were pretty samey. Some interesting, some silly/banal.

Short stories - some that tell about Reacher’s younger days - as a teenager in Guam, a high school student on his way to visit Joe at West Point, his early Army days when Joe is at the Pentagon. Those were fun - although the Son of Sam reference was a bit far fetched.
Some of the stories were ideas Child had that just didn’t become full fledged books - but they made great shorts. I liked most of them.

A mixed bag, with a couple great stories and a couple embarrassingly bad ones, which must be ghost written - there's no way the writer of Prime Suspect wrote the New York/Son of Sam one. The England in winter one is even worse (it's all kinds of awful, but we even get to hear Jack Reacher say the word 'hoo-hah').

Very enjoyable read. I had seen maybe half of these stories, and enjoyed those, but the meat of it is the new material, at least new to me. Nice short, and to the point with these stories. It was very enjoyable and a good set up for the upcoming novel.
