Hello, Archer Moore! I am beginning to think Ruth is one of my favorite pregnancy trope writers! She just knows how to make this trope work in a book. While it did take a second for me to hop back into the Blade Kings timeline, once I did, I was engrossed in this world and these characters.
This man y'all. Archer Moore is the epitomy of if he could, he would. I absolutely loved his devotion to Darcy. I loved how he brought her out of her shell and slowly got her to let her guard down and trust again. He was the perfect support system for her through the entire book.
And Darcy, I loved seeing the evolution of her character. We met her in Ruth's previous series, Seattle Scorpians, and boy, has she really grown and developed over time. She became such a strong, independent person, but she learned that it was ok to lean on someone for support when needed. I also loved that she always trusted her gut and stood up for herself.
Man, these two together? The chemistry? Love them! The spice? Fire! I hope we get to see more of them in future books.

When the playboy falls fast and hard for his best friend's sister and there's no one else he'll ever want, you get one amazing story!! Every time I read one of Ruth Stilling's books I think "okay, but he's my favourite", well and then the next boy comes along and I think the same over and over 😅!!
Ruth sure is the master of "boy obsessed" and writes accidental pregnancy like no other. The way Archer supports Darcy every step of the way, let's her catch up with his feelings one attentive moment after the other and makes her fall for him slowly, but surely was straight up adorable!!
If you like found family, hot hockey players, smart and strong women, amazing spice and man obsessed with their women, I'd suggest you fall head first into Ruth's hockey universe as soon as possible!!

This is a good brother's best friend sports romance. I've been looking forward to this one. I knew there was more to Archer than his playboy ways. He just needed the "one" to see the ways. Darcy and Archer together are so adorable, but man do they bring the heat. They are fan yourself steamy. Things get even tricker with keeping everything a secret because an unexpected, but joyous surprise comes. Get ready for Archer to make you swoon. For a man who doesn't do commitment he sure knows what he is doing when it comes to Darcy. That man has A game when for boyfriend material that's for sure. A great addition to the series!!

I just could not put this book down!! Darcy & Archer are just sooo perfect!!! I wanna live in the DARCher bubble!! I spent the whole book, blushing, giggling, or saying no he didn’t!!! Archer has my heart! I love him so much!! He’s officially my favorite Ruth Stilling man! That man makes me so giddy!! Darcy is so lucky!! This book is everything!! 💛💛💛
