What an absolutely stunning second chance romance. The chemistry between Dax and Remi was sizzling but add their history together, it is a stunning tale of lust, love, heartbreak and redemption. I loved Dirty English and Declan but I think Dax is the new heartthrob of this family! I love how his character develops throughout this story and really gives you a sense of how he is growing up.
Remi is a bit broken, and who wouldn’t be after what her ex did to her. One chance encounter changes the course of her path and it’s right on Dax’s trail. They banter and the quick wit between these two keep you glued to their every moment and will make you giggle. They go through so many motions and when the time comes that they end up living together through circumstance, past heartache comes out as well as secrets that the other one didn’t know. This makes for some heartbreaking angst as you read these two go through it.
What I really loved was the ending. That bonfire. Was epic. I have to say was my favorite scene in the whole book and it left me swooning and giggling. Overall, this book flowed amazingly and kept me engaged the whole time. If you have not read these books from Madden-Mills, I highly recommend them. They are a lot of fun as well as amazing twists on classic literature!

~I was offered a copy of this book as part of the promotion tour and in return for an honest review~

I read Dirty English (book 1) last year and I fell in love with Declan and with Ilsa's writing style. I then said that I would love reading about Dax and didn't know that there would be a second book. When finding this out it was an instant want-to-read for me. Dax and Remi's story was amazing, I love stories where there's either been a previous encounter or where there's a good relationship set up between the two main characters and I think the backstory between the characters was amazing.

I read this book literally in three hours and I still hadn't had enough, I would've read for twice as long if the book had been bigger. Filthy English was an amazing, funny, suspenseful (sometimes) book that kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to read/finish this.

Thank you Ilsa and TRSOR for this copy, I would've paid for this if not but I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy. I recommend these books to anyone that loves a good romance with hot British guys involved!

Having read Dirty English, I couldn't wait to jump into this book. I loved Declan and Elizabeth, and I wanted to find out about Declan's younger brother.
Dax Blay is a player, but what happened with Remi 3 year's ago changed him. He hasn't been the same since. There's this pull between them.
Remi, can't get over Dax, not after what she went through 3 years ago. She needs someone reliable, safe and dependent. That's Hartford, but he calls off the wedding 2 weeks before.
Remi is heartbroken but never the less goes on her "honey moon" with her best friend Lulu. What better way to forget your ex then partying it up in London.
Remi and Dax have some chance meet ups, but things don't always go to plan. Will they be able to move on from their past?
I thought the story was a bit slow going to start off with. I couldn't really get into it. It was also predictable. But I did really enjoy it.
I love Dax and Remi together, they are this perfect couple. Just as perfect as Declan and Elizabeth.
At the end there was a surprise or two thrown in.
These characters are so easy to fall in love with. Dax is a cheeky character but you can't help but love him.
Remi is a girl after my own heart with her lists and plans. But sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind and just let your hair down for once.
Ilsa has a excellent writing style, it grips you and makes you want to read more. The story flowed really well.
I can't wait to see what else Ilsa will bring.
I hope Spider and Lulu get books. They are some interesting characters!

I'm in the middle of reading this book , I've got few chapters left and I'm seriously done with Remi , i wish she'd end up with The fiance and leave Dax alone , she literally didn't tell him about his baby because she thought she was in love with him and he was having fun with other girls ( he didn't know shit ) and kept on hating on him because of something he had no idea about , fu@$ her

The 2 stars are for Dax and Dax alone

Great characters

Enjoyed this story which is the second in a series. I had not read book one but will definitely be going back and reading it.

One of the most important thing to me is characters I can develop feelings for. Strong character development is the difference between an okay book and a good book for me. That and a well paced story arc. This book has great characters, including the secondary characters and for the most part the story arc moves well.

I enjoyed the set up for this book though the one step forward two steps back got to be a bit repetitive and what was no doubt supposed to be angst often just came across as being whiny. The one big reveal toward the end seemed pretty unnecessary and really didn’t add much to the story.

Having said all that I did enjoy the story and enough so that I’ll be going back to read book one.
