Phenomenal book. Outstanding. Properly hilarious and fun and then utterly utterly brutal. Probably the most depressing and brilliant ending to any book I've read. 5 stars.

This book was actually quite interesting besides the random points of racism, misogyny, and homophobia. That stuff is not fun. Am I surprised that this book was written by a white man in the 60s? No.
