Everything in the title is exactly what you get. The genetics of birds, how they have evolved, and the characteristics of certain species. Kinda dry, but interesting to have on in the background.

As an audio book, a bit hard to follow and felt disjointed, but it might be better to actually read. Filled with lots of fun facts, but sometimes hard to make sense of. I might return to it when I am further along in my appreciation of birds.
