I loved this! A summery, fast-paced romance story. The plot was so cozy and the interactions between the fmc and mmc were real. There was actually quality time spent. While the plot may seem a bit unrealistic
aka getting married on a whim
it was so much fun!

3 Thank God for Bedbugs Stars ⭐️

This is a definition three star book, like it was fine and I don’t think there was anything wrong with it. Avery and Emmett weren’t the couple for me. I didn’t care about them separately or together. Like it was fine romance and they wanted to go to bone town, but did I care?

I legit had more interest/emotional attachment to the moms becoming bffs at the end of the book than these two getting together for real.

Since this story is the start of a series, I’m hoping it goes up from here because I do think if I actually care about the main characters, this author could deliver! And if there continues to be the inclusion of small town side characters, I think that’ll build really nice!

Tropes: fake dating/marriage of convenience, small town romance, and kinda reverse grumpy x sunshine

4.25 ⭐️ had me laughing out loud. Really enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down. Thought the dynamic was really cute but I am partial to couples who enjoy winding each other up. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series

Astounded by the insanely fast timeline of this haha

Took me 2 WEEKS to finish this one. Wasn’t bad at all, but wasn’t it for me. I liked the second book more, bc the vibe of those two? Not rlly.
Was cute and fun, but wouldn’t re-read it.
