I want to prelude this review with the fact that I accidentally read these books out of order

DNF at 34%.

I couldn’t relate to the characters at all. I felt so much second hand embarrassment, I had to call it.

Cute, relaxing read with not a lot of heavy conflicts. The characters were ok- I feel like there were some scenes that were missing that could have added more depth. We didn’t get many scenes in the transition between enemies to lovers other than the sexual tension.

First book by Stephanie and I loved it.

I loved the MCs. Avery and Emmett had the perfect love/hate chemistry. The tension between them made the book. The 'is this where they give in' had me on the edge of my seat. I adored how Emmett fell first and would do anything so Avery could have her dream. He was such a sweetie and I hated how the rest of the town viewed him.

I loved the humour. It was effortlessly funny and I just wanted more and more, never wanting to put the book down.

I adored Emmett's family, his brothers and parents were amazing characters and I can't wait to see more of them in the rest of the series.

Finished this in a day. So easy, cute, light hearted, funny, and cozy. I loved the writing and story, I can tell this will be a series I devour. Small town, rom com, spicy, so funny, and heart warming. Book 1 is fake fiancé/marriage, he is running for town mayor and she is in the local restaurant industry. I loved the characters & all the people in the town! So atmospheric too, this was so fun!!!

Gotta love a small town brother series that requires no brain power and makes me blush, giggle and not put my kindle down

This was so much better than I expected it to be. I loved the characters, the story and the vibes. It was such a fun romcom and I love that there was no 3rd act breakup (sorry if that spoils it for some). I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. Happy reading!
