That Kind of Guy was a fun, fast-paced romance with solid chemistry between the main characters. I especially loved Hannah. She had the perfect setup for her own story (and I’m glad she gets one in the next standalone). The flow was good, but the romance moved too quickly, the fake dating escalated unrealistically, and they never even got caught. The conflict wrapped up almost as soon as it started, leaving me wanting more depth. It worked as a quick, lighthearted palette cleanser, but it didn’t leave much of a lasting impression.

restaurant, small town, fake dating and marriage? yes please! also fear of turtles?

I highly recommend any Stephanie archer books!
