  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

So weird, but I don't hate it. Keeps me intrigued and I love the artwork.

While chasing the creature from the black barn that has escaped and roams the world, the team needs to solve the riddle of the Pentoculous machine and traverse the multiverse. Scary and almost psychedelic, the plot focuses on new horrific, imaginative sequences.

Great art, but the story has me sleepy.

-You are nothing but a fallen dog
-You're right about that. And yet I just can't help but keep getting back up

4 of these volumes down in 24 hours. 2 to go! I'm enamored. The art is visually stunning, the story is enthralling, and the quality of the overall series has remained consistent throughout each volume.
