I HAVE FINALLY EMERGED FROM THE DARKNESS! Phew it took me over a month to slog through this, and I wouldn’t have bothered if it wasn’t the 6th and final installment. 728 pages. SEVEN HUNDRED. FOR WHY? TL;DR this book (and all of the Christians POV books honestly) doesn’t need to exist. It adds nothing to the story and just makes me hate Christian because it makes him even more insufferable and controlling and crazy. Also, not a knock on this book specifically, but I only realized while reading this one that this entire fifty shades story goes from 0 to 1000 over the course of like 3 months? This is not okayyyyyy I am not okay nothing is okay

I'm sincerely so happy E. L. James decided to finish this series for us. Christian's perspective is great. I was expecting to get more information about Christian and Elena's "relationship" and was expecting the scene where he visits her to have more substance, so I was disappointed by this lack. However, I am not ashamed to admit I love the fifty shades series, so I loved the book regardless.
