It’s impossible not to love Walton’s work. Aside from the overly villainous record executive and a few headlines and new stories that didn’t feel true, this story has immense depth and its characters are rich and satisfyingly complicated.

I also really enjoyed Sunny. At first, the presence of this fictitious author felt forced. Her character seemed almost too perfect, but as she involves herself more and more, the narrative becomes much more arresting than it already is.

I'm bored. I thought this would be like Daisy Jones and the Six except diverse but it's really underwhelming and I don't care about anyone.

Loved!! So captivating. I was worried it’d stray too close to Daisy Jones and the Six/classic rock plotlines, but it did a great job of keeping me captivated until the end. I won’t forget about these characters for a while.

Audiobook: Fan-freaking-tasting! A full cast of narrators. An amazing story that will keep you wanting more. I only took off one star before it did drag in a few places—nothing major.
