gosh grace, every freaking time. i want to live in your brain it just seems so dark and cozy in there. this book took me a little longer to get into than all her others but by the 30% mark i was fully invested in figuring out were this was going. i feel like the mythic would could have been built a little better, or give some more explanations instead of just assuming people know mythology but im having a really fun time with it. this is the first book of hers that im not absolutely feral over the men though, i just dont feel all the connected to them. maybe because their life and history was just so long ago i dont feel the connection, idk. i absolutely love the story though

Pros
A RH where all the Hs are distinctive enough that I can tell them apart
A compelling story with an exciting plot
Despite being short I still felt like I got to know the MCs
GRIFF!!!! I love him ❤️

Cons
I expected a little more resistance but this is only a tiny quibble. It still worked.

I absolutely loved the plot as well as the story itself. The characters Nate and Wren were entertaining and very likable. The narrative was engaging to the reader. The dialogue was interesting. I felt that it was more a young teenager or early twenties reader in which for some of the sexual encounters are a bit much for a teenager. The book has a good story. I would have liked the book to be more of an adult read, than something that made the reader feel like they’re reading a young adult book. Until next time my fellow readers. Read on!

Currently five stars, and I know that time and perspective may change that, but I also can’t see it getting lower than four stars at worst. I’m really enjoying this story, though I’m going to save the full review for when I finish the second book. I do predict it’s one of this author’s books that I won’t be able to resist buying though.
