My favorite book in the series so far, though I was a little disappointed Belren didn't become another mate. But damn is it nice to just have a fast-paced, lighthearted rom com with fun characters written by an author who pretty much said "fuck it, I can do whatever I want" when it came to the plot (but like, in a good way). One novella and one spinoff to go!

I will say this book was a slower start for me because the first third is really plot based and nothing involving the mates.

I loved this book just the same. The laughs, the tears, and the joy when the harem got their happy ending.

3/5 on the spicy scale. This book felt more like you read for the plot than the smut. But the sex scenes were wonderful. If I could change one thing, it’d be that Okot and Emelle get at least one scene. Because their gentle love really warms my heart and I’m sad we didn’t see much of that in this book.
