Another great entry in this series. Really ramping up as we come towards the end times.

This is Archibald Chamberlain’s game and he is playing to win. The war goes on and the factions make their moves.

Apacolyptic as hell. This volume packs the most movement and intrigue since the first or second.

Sometimes I think it'd be awesome to invent a pill that let you forget specific pieces of media, so you could watch Jurassic Park for the first time, or Die Hard, again, just like you did the first time.

But THEN I think about how I probably couldn't tell you, after finishing this a few days ago, a coherent version of all the storylines in this book anyway, so maybe I've already invented the pill in my mind? And it's called being stupid?

So that's what was in Archibald's cigar box... I loved his gunslinging reveal here too.

Oh Goodness. This delivers on everything the last book promised and ramps up for so much more. If the apocalypse is your jam you should be reading this series.
Spoiler Wolf?! What is even happening? I know the whole point is that everyone is awful, but the Archibald is shaping up to be the very worst. I look forward to his future interactions with the horsemen. It's just not right to have us find Babylon and then give us a whole book without showing them together. Rude.

Wolf and Crow are standout characters in a book full of amazing ones. Just saying.
