Charlie and Eli Sisters are brothers and hired killers. I loved the premise and the title and the cover art is pretty cool too.

This comic? western? was unlike any book I've ever read though other reviewers draw comparisons to famous westerns I've never heard of and say it's still good.

It reads simply and the plot is fairly direct (The brothers are hired to kill Hermann Warm because "The Commodore" tells them to do so), but at the same time, the characters are pretty deep, and I found myself surprised by the actions that unfolded.

I wouldn't be suprised if this ends up as a movie in a few years. I think it will be a fun book club discussion.

4 out of 5 dentists recommend this book based on Eli's oral hygiene habits.

This sparsely narrated western adventure tale was told from the perspective of one brother in a murderous pair and focuses on Eli's moral dilemma with his current life trajectory as he and his brother Charlie pursue what may be their final job working for the mysterious Commodore. I loved how unpredictable this book was, as every step of the adventure was filled with new and exciting characters and interactions, all with a sinister pall. Of particular anguish was the deleterious fate of Eli's horse Tub. An interesting and ironic twist put the brother's decision to do right and avoid their murderous orders into a position that sacrificed their health, safety, and new-found.

I love stories about the wild west. This is a gruesome account of two brothers, assassins. I enjoyed it for its characters, humor and amazing descriptive detail.

Loved this!! A Coen Brothers film waiting to happen. Original and funny with a dry wit.

This was a super easy read. A western, a simple plot, not really much there. I liked the first person narrative by the sidekick brother.

This book is everything I want in the book. Dark but funny, uncomplicated but deep, simple but rich. It uses gore, sex and violence, but uses them in just the right ways (for a purpose, and not just sex and violence for their own sake). Great characters, setting, story...everything! If every book I read could be just like this, I would be one very happy (and slightly disturbed)young lady.
