Oh wow...I really like this books. This one is a domestic suspense thriller read.
The story following Paige, Cora, and Georgia, three wives in exclusive community on the Oregon coast Brighton Hills a year after a murder happened. The more I read the more dark secrets revealed and more twists and turns popped up and each got me on the edge of my seat. Also the more I read the more these women got under my skin, I'm angry when they're angry, I'm sad when something bad happened to them, I'm scared when they're scared, I'm so invested in their story, I understand why they did what they did and admire how much they're fighting to survive, I root for them, I just want them to be happy.
As for the suspense, this book really delivered a great suspense, there are some parts that just hard to read with all the gory details that made me want to stop but I just can't stop because I really need to know what will happen next, and there are also parts when my heart racing so fast, I just so worried that something will end not well.
As for the plot itself, it's predictable and not that shocking and there's some part that I wish there's more in the conclusion, but it doesn't take away the enjoyment of the whole story, I still love it nonetheless.
Captivating story, great suspense and great characters, definitely highly recommend, but please see the trigger warning, there's a lot gaslighting in it.

Nothing unexpected but I do love when women band together to take down shitty men (minus grant). Some good relationship dynamics and none of the povs were unreliable narrators.

This book was ok for me. I felt for a lot of the plot, the main point of the book was lost until the very end. I felt quite a bit of it was wildly unrealistic. I wish there was a little more development in the book to make the ending make more sense.
