Questo è il prologo inglese che in origine era separato. Nell'edizione italiana coincide con l'inizio del libro. Interessante e con un colpo di scena che fa intuire il ritmo del racconto.
Une nouvelle en guise de mise en bouche avant un tome qui s'annonce explosif et sans doute riche en rebondissements. Je dois avouer qu'au début j'ai eu de gros moments de solitude concernant l'un des personnages, j'avais l'impression de ne plus rien comprendre, d'avoir mal lu le résumé et/ou d'avoir été trompée sur la marchandise, jusqu'au grand moment WTF de la nouvelle !
Un moment de lecture assez chaud, mais j'avoue être perplexe de voir Will, l'incarnation de l'apha pur et dur, dans une position aussi ... vulnérable. Je trouve que ça ne colle pas avec l'image de macho qu'il donne au début ...
On verra la suite donc.

I was confused. Now I'm turned on and confused.
Let's just say that this book has a few surprises even with the blurb spelling it out. This prequel definitely sets a mood and my grabby hands are waiting for Enemies Like Us.

Not really my sort of thing at all but it was diverting all the same? Will admit to being curious about the series now.
