I loved this story.

Content: clean - passionate kissing, a few mild swear words

I have really been into light hearted romance lately and this second chance, friends to lovers is a favourite of mine so far. The storyline was cute, light hearted, easy to read! If you're looking for a cute, happy, quick read I highly recommend this book

This was my least favorite in the series. The whole “We’re just friends who flirt” thing was very immature. The communication was immature, the pranks were immature… I just couldn’t get into it. I wanted them to just be honest, say what they wanted from the relationship and stop messing around.

I loved this book! The summer camp theme made me want to go to summer camp or be a counselor (and I hate camping so that’s big for me lol)! I felt like Sawyer and Tabitha’s relationship was more realistic than other love stories - Tabitha had anxiety and had to work through that and attended therapy. I feel like the author could have ended the story at so many points after their talks, but I’m so glad she didn’t. Both Tabitha and I needed to work through things, so I’m glad she and Sawyer had to talk it out multiple times. I felt like I could relate to the first dock scene, it was big enough to impact Tabitha but not big enough that it was unrealistic if that makes sense.

This book says it’s #3 in a series, but I’ve never read the other books. It can stand alone just fine.

Special thanks to the author for an earc in exchange for an honest review.
