fast paced but maybe too fast?
My main issue I had is this book doesn’t have a ton of world building for me to understand the rules for magic, why Malinda thought the way she did, and give depth to the romance. I do hope the author keeps moving and growing though! We all need nice light stories in our life.

This book is beautifully written. There is enough detail that you are able to picture the scenes perfectly. This book is a quick read. Cannot wait to read more from this author.
